Ratings: “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” Rises From Last Week, Stays Below Premiere

“PLL: The Perfectionists” outperformed last week’s episode but ultimately still posted underwhelming ratings.

The good news: episode three of Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” posted week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

The bad news: the numbers did not fully rebound to those set by the premiere. They also remain well short of reasonable expectations for the series.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s episode drew a 0.14 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.24 million overall viewers.

The numbers top the 0.09 rating and 0.24 million viewer mark posted by the second episode but trail the premiere’s 0.18 rating and 0.44 million viewership figure.

While the show is generating a healthy amount of fan interest and DVR/streaming viewership, its live numbers remain underwhelming even by broader Freeform standards. They are markedly below anything ever posted by the original “Pretty Little Liars” series.
