Update: NBC confirms that Shawn Mendes will be an interview and musical guest on the September 27 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The episode will also feature an appearance by Ricky Gervais.

Shawn Mendes last appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September 2017.
Next week, he will return to the popular late-night program.
According to NBC, Mendes will appear on the September 27 episode.
NBC has not yet confirmed his role, but insofar as only one other celebrity is listed (Ricky Gervais), it is possible he will be an interview and musical guest. Headline Planet will provide an update as soon as further details emerge.
