The iconic and incredibly influential Aretha Franklin passed away earlier Thursday.
To pay tribute to the “Queen Of Soul,” NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” opened with a special performance by Ariana Grande and The Roots.
The artists joined forces to perform Franklin’s classic “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” before the studio audience. Given the talent involved, the cover was predictably beautiful.
Grande will also be appearing as an interview guest on Thursday’s episode. A video of the cover follows:
