Twelve hours have passed since the release of Ariana Grande’s “God is a woman,” and the response has been rather glowing. Critics seem to be responding to the release as passionately as Grande’s core fans.
Music fans and critics have not, however, merely spent the past half-day praising the song. They have also been eagerly anticipating the video.
Hype from Grande and members of her team did little to discourage said hype.
Directed by Dave Meyers, the video officially arrived at 12PM ET Friday. Coupled with solid sales and audio streaming interest, views on the video should help “God is a woman” make a solid debut on the July 28-dated Billboard Hot 100.
