Camila Cabello’s multi-format hit “Never Be The Same” retains the #1 position at pop radio.
Played ~16,550 times during the May 13-19 tracking period (-1,123), “Never Be The Same” enjoys a third week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
“Never Be The Same” is the follow-up to Cabello’s global smash “Havana (featuring Young Thug),” which enjoyed a seven-week reign as pop radio’s #1 song. The first two singles from Cabello’s debut album “Camila” have thus spent ten combined weeks atop the chart.
Prior to “Havana,” Cabello reached #1 with her Machine Gun Kelly collaboration “Bad Things.” The single spent two weeks at #1 in early 2017.
Cabello also enjoyed a two-week reign as part of Fifth Harmony’s chart-topping “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign).”
“Never Be The Same” is not the only song to hold steady on this week’s chart; the entire Top 5, in fact, remains in fact.
Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle,” which received ~15,958 spins (-542), holds at #2. The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar’s “Pray For Me” stays at #3 with ~13,447 spins (-493), while a play count of ~12,575 (-1,320) keeps Drake’s “God’s Plan” at #4.
Credited with ~12,368 spins (+745), Imagine Dragons’ “Whatever It Takes” spends another week at #5.
