BTS’ “Fake Love” Received Opening Day Pop Radio Airplay In Oklahoma City, Chattanooga

KJ103 and 103.7 gave the song considerable first-day attention.

Over the past year, Oklahoma City’s KJ103 and Chattanooga’s KISS 103.7 have given considerable attention to music from superstar K-pop group BTS.

It should therefore come as no surprise that they played the group’s new “Fake Love” frequently on its first day of release.

According to Mediabase, KJ103 had played “Fake Love” a whopping 21 times by the close of Friday, May 18. KISS offered 18 spins.

“Fake Love” also received support from Hits 96 in Chattanooga and 104.3 HITfm in El Paso.

“Fake Love” spent much of Friday at #2 on the US iTunes sales chart. It also ranked as one of the day’s Top 30 songs on US Spotify and will receive more exposure when the group performs at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.

Columbia Records is handling the song’s United States radio push.
