Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” Enjoys 5th Week At #1 On Pop Radio Chart

“The Middle” spends a fifth consecutive week atop the pop radio listing.

Over the past week, multiple media pieces emerged regarding the creation of “The Middle.” Specifically, the pieces focused on the numerous pop stars who recorded vocals during the track’s development stage.

Maren Morris’ voice ended up powering the final version of the track, and she shares lead credit with Zedd and Grey.

That final version continues to rule at pop radio.

Played ~18,216 times during the April 22-28 tracking period, “The Middle” earns a fifth week at #1 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

This week’s spin count trails last week’s mark by 46, but it keeps “The Middle” roughly 800 spins ahead of its closest competition.

Camila Cabello’s “Never Be The Same,” again the runner-up, received ~17,397 spins (+876).

Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line)” holds at #3 with ~15,103 plays (-56), while a spin count of ~13,977 (+1,132) lifts Drake’s “God’s Plan” one place to #4.

Down one place, The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar’s “Pray For Me” takes #5 with ~13,675 spins (+674).
