Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

The new Carrie Underwood single reaches #1 on the all-genre US iTunes sales chart.

Following Wednesday morning’s official release, Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” rocketed to upper reaches of the US iTunes sales chart.

By noon, it had leapfrogged all but one song: Drake’s recently released “Nice For What.”

By Wednesday evening, it had leapfrogged that one as well. “Cry Pretty” is #1 on the all-genre chart as of press time at 6:53PM ET.

“Nice For What” is currently #2, while Cardi B, J Balvin & Bad Bunny’s “I Like It” is #3.

Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line)” (#4) and Imagine Dragons’ “Whatever It Takes” (#5) complete the Top 5.

“Cry Pretty” is the lead single from Underwood’s forthcoming album. It received immediate support at radio today — and will receive more high-profile exposure when Underwood performs at Sunday’s ACM Awards ceremony.
