Selena Gomez & Francia Raisa | TODAY Show
In a mid-September Instagram post, entertainment superstar Selena Gomez revealed that she had received a kidney transplant from actress (and friend) Francia Raisa.
Gomez and Raisa recently sat down to discuss the situation with Savannah Guthrie of NBC’s TODAY Show.
The multi-part interview will air during the October 30 and 31 editions of TODAY. Additional footage will air on the October 30 “NBC Nightly News With Lester Holt.”
The interview finds Gomez crediting Raisa for saving her life.
“I guess I got to the point where it was — it was really kind of life or death,” says Gomez.
