Taylor Swift’s new song “Gorgeous” arrived late Thursday/early Friday.
While Republic did not explicitly identify it as a radio single, numerous pop stations offered immediate airplay.
According to Mediabase, Los Angeles’ 97.1 AMP, Orlando’s XL106.7 FM, and Dallas’ Hot 93.3 had each played the song 10 times by the close of Friday.
Miami’s Hits 97.3 and Chattanooga’s 103.7 KISS FM each offered 9 spins through the end of Friday, while New York’s 92.3 AMP provided 8 plays.
Milwaukee’s 10.7 KISS, Boston’s 103.3 AMP and Nashville’s 107.5 The River had each played “Gorgeous” seven times by Friday’s conclusion.
Dozens of other pop stations have played the song between one and six times.
“Gorgeous” appears on Swift’s forthcoming album “reputation.” The album also includes “Look What You Made Me Do,” which reached #1 on last week’s Mediabase pop chart (but will fall to #6 this week) and “…Ready For It?,” which is inside the Top 20 at pop.
