The Roots & Bilal Scheduled To Perform On August 7 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

They will presumably play their “Detroit” soundtrack cut “It Ain’t Fair.”

In-house band The Roots will receive a special showcase on an upcoming edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

NBC confirms that The Roots will deliver the show-closing musical performance on the August 7 episode.

The “Legendary Roots Crew” will be joined by Bilal. The acts will presumably join forces to perform “It Ain’t Fair,” their contribution to the “Detroit” soundtrack.

The August 7 “Tonight Show” will also feature Jeff Bridges and Aubrey Plaza. Official listings follow:
