Miley Cyrus’ new single “Malibu” predictably won a considerable amount of support in conjunction with this week’s pop radio impact.
Picked up by 116 Mediabase-monitored pop stations stations, “Malibu” convincingly ranks as the format’s most added song. No other song received even one-third as many adds this week.
Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” and Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands,” which tie for second, each landed at 36 new stations this week.
Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” follows in fourth with 25 pickups, while an add count of 18 positions Charlie Puth’s “Attention” as fifth-most added.
