He first joined Fallon and fellow guest Kevin Bacon for a “First Drafts Of Rock” bit. The subject? ZZ Top’s hit “Legs.”
Later, he took the stage to perform his own song “I Was Wrong.”

Chris Stapleton’s new album “From A Room, Volume One” debuted this past Friday.
In support and celebration of the new release, the Grammy-winning artist appears in two segments on Monday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Stapleton first appears in a “First Drafts Of Rock” sketch. The bit finds Stapleton, host Jimmy Fallon and interview guest Kevin Bacon offering a take on a ZZ Top classic.
Stapleton later returns to the stage to play a song from his new album.
Taped Monday afternoon, the episode also features interviews with David Feherty and the aforementioned Kevin Bacon. It airs at 11:35PM ET/PT.
