Mark Isaiah Receives Instant Save On The Voice; Troy Ramey Eliminated

Team Adam’s Mark Isaiah survives elimination on Tuesday’s “The Voice.” Team Gwen’s Troy Ramey goes home.

Team Adam’s Mark Isaiah and Team Gwen’s Troy Ramey received the lowest amount of votes in conjunction with this week’s “The Voice.”

Only Ramey will be going home.

Isaiah survived thanks to the first “Instant Save” of the season.

The two contestants were each given a chance to perform for America’s vote. Isaiah performed “When I Was Your Man” and Ramey performed “Drift Away.”

Fans subsequently voted for their preferred contestant, and Isaiah won the vote — and thus the “Instant Save” — by a rather narrow margin. When the live voting ticker was removed from the screen, it showed a 52-48 lead for Isaiah.

Ramey’s elimination leaves Team Gwen with two contestants — Brennley Brown and Hunter Plake. Teams Adam (Isaiah, Jesse Larson, Lilli Passero), Alicia (Vanessa Ferguson, Chris Blue, Stephanie Rice) and Blake (Aliyah Moulden, Lauren Duski, TSoul) are intact.

The remaining 11 contestants will return to the stage on Monday.
