Ratings: “The Walking Dead” Increases This Week, “Into The Badlands” Gains In Demo

The penultimate seventh-season “The Walking Dead” posted slight week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Lead-out “Into The Badlands” was up slightly in the demo but down slightly in total viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “TWD” drew a 4.88 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 10.54 million overall viewers. The numbers top the 4.72 rating and 10.32 million viewer average drawn last week.

“Into The Badlands” garnered a 1.49 adults 18-49 rating and 3.41 million viewers for its second season two broadcast. Last week’s season premiere posted a lesser 1.42 demo rating but a slightly stronger 3.44 million viewership average.

Airing out of “Into The Badlands” rather than “The Walking Dead,” AMC’s “Talking Dead” posted a 0.91 rating and 2.14 million viewers this week. The numbers pale in comparison to what would be expected of a post-“TWD” installment, but they top the 0.84 rating and 1.97 million viewer mark attained last week.
