Lorde’s “Green Light” Ranks As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

Lorde’s new “Green Light” unsurprisingly takes the top spot on this week’s hot adult contemporary radio add board.

The lead “Melodrama” single was added by 52 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations this week. The count more than doubles that of the next-most added song.

The Chainsmokers & Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This,” that song, won support from another 23 stations this week.

Picked up by another 20 stations, The Band Perry’s “Stay In The Dark” follows as third-most added. Linkin Park’s “Heavy (featuring kiiara)” takes fourth with 10 adds, while Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” and Marian Hill’s “Down” tie for fifth with 8 adds each.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Meghan Trainor’s “I’m A Lady” (7 adds, 7th-most), Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye (featuring Sean Paul & Anne-Marie)” (6 adds, 8th-most, tie), Imagine Dragons’ “Believer” (6 adds, 8th-most, tie), JP Cooper’s “September Song” (5 adds, 10th-most, tie), Julia Michaels’ “Issues” (5 adds, 10th-most, tie), Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” (5 adds, 10th-most, tie), and Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” (5 adds, 10th-most, tie).
