Ratings: “Vampire Diaries,” “Reign” Hold Flat In Demo, Rise In Viewership

The penultimate installment of “The Vampire Diaries” and the latest edition of “Reign” matched the previous episodes in adults 18-49. They, meanwhile, posted gains in overall viewership.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Friday’s “The Vampire Diaries” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.17 million total viewers. Last week’s show drew the same 0.4 in the demo but only 1.04 million in overall viewership.

Lead-out “Reign” followed with a 0.2 rating and 0.66 million in viewership this week. Last week’s broadcast posted a 0.2 and 0.59 million; the latter number marked a series low.

“The Vampire Diaries” concludes with next week’s “I Was Feeling Epic” series finale. “Reign” comes to an end later this season.
