Future’s “HNDRXX” Pacing For #1 On Billboard 200, Little Big Town May Challenge In Sales

While Future’s “HNDRXX” is a lock for #1 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart, it is in a very tight race on the pure sales front.

According to Hits Daily Double, Future’s album and Little Big Town’s “The Breaker” are both on track to sell 44-48,000 pure US copies this week. Either could end up winning the sales race — and claiming #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.

There is far less uncertainty in the consumption race. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) added to the sales total, “HNDRXX” should generate about 115-125,00 first-week consumption units. The figure will make “HNDRXX” a convincing #1 on the Billboard 200.

Projected for just 47-52,000 in total first week units, the Little Big Town album will probably not even rank as the runner-up. Hits expects that honor to go to “Future,” last week’s new Future release. The album is expected to generate 69-74,000 consumption units in its second week.

The “Trolls” soundtrack (~46-50,000 units), Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” (~46-50,000) and The Weeknd’s “Starboy” (~46-50,000) are also vying for Top 5 positions on this week’s Billboard 200.
