Update: In what represented the duo’s debut on the program, Marian Hill performed “Down” on Friday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

“Down” has exploded onto the mainstream radar thanks to its inclusion in Apple’s new iPhone + AirPods commercial. Friday’s performance generated additional buzz for the track.

An Apple commercial featuring Marian Hill’s song “Down” premiered during last weekend’s Seahawks-Falcons game.

In the days that followed, “Down” rocketed into the Top 15 on the US iTunes sales chart. It also began to receive airplay from some of the biggest pop radio stations in the country.

Marian Hill’s already momentous week gets even better Friday night; the duo performs on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The performance marks Marian Hill’s first “Tonight Show” appearance.

Set to air at 11:35PM ET/PT, Friday’s “Tonight Show” also features appearances by James Spader, Big Sean and Kevin Delaney.
