Green Day Performs “Bang Bang” On Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” (Watch Now)

Update: In support (and celebration) of new album “Revolution Radio,” Green Day performed on Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The band played its single “Bang Bang,” which has spent four weeks atop the Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

A video of the “Bang Bang” performance follows. Photos from the taping, which included appearances by Ben Affleck and Sarah Paulson, are also embedded.

Green Day’s eagerly anticipated new album “Revolution Radio” is finally here.

To promote and celebrate the new release, the band performs on Thursday’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The performance marks Green Day’s first appearance on the Fallon-hosted “Tonight Show.”

The broadcast begins at 11:35PM ET — just as “Revolution Radio” is becoming available for digital purchase.

Taped Thursday afternoon, the episode also features appearances by Ben Affleck and Sarah Paulson. Both participate in interviews; Affleck also joins Fallon for a “Kid Theater” sketch.
