Drake’s “Views” Returns To #1 On Billboard 200; Aaron Lewis’ “Sinner” Wins Sales Race

Making good on mid-week projections, Drake’s “Views” returns to #1 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart.

Absent from the top spot for seven weeks, “Views” recaptures #1 thanks to what Billboard reports as 53K in weekly US consumption units. Consumption units are the sum of pure album sales, TEA and SEA.

This marks the album’s thirteenth week on top.

While it returns to #1 on the consumption-oriented Billboard 200, it does not grab the top spot on Top Album Sales. That honor instead belongs to Aaron Lewis’ debuting “Sinner.” According to Billboard, “Sinner” generated 39K in weekly US album sales.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) yields a first-week consumption total of 42K. That positions “Sinner” at #4 on the Billboard 200.

In addition to “Views,” it trails Mac Miller’s debuting “The Divine Feminine” (#2, 48K units; 32K from sales) and “Suicide Squad: The Album” (#3, 46K units).

Usher’s “Hard II Love” debuts at #5 with 38K in total units (28K from sales).
