In addition to receiving new RIAA certifications for her albums “Title” and “Thank You,” Meghan Trainor recently earned a new digital single award.
“Me Too,” the second single from the Grammy winner’s “Thank You,” is now platinum in the United States. Epic Records confirms the news, which has not yet been announced on the RIAA website.
A platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Me Too” was Trainor’s sixth radio single as a lead artist; it is also her sixth to reach platinum or better in the United States. Trainor additionally appears as a featured artist on Charlie Puth’s double platinum radio single “Marvin Gaye.”
“Title,” the title track (non-single) from her debut album, is gold in the US.
