For the first time since the recent roster split, WWE SmackDown! Live tied WWE RAW in adults 18-49.
It nearly matched the show’s total viewership figure.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s SmackDown! broadcast drew a 0.91 adults 18-49 rating and 2.66 million total viewers.
Across its 192 minutes, Monday’s RAW averaged the same 0.91 adults 18-49 rating. It, meanwhile, drew an average audience of 2.68 million live+same-day viewers.
Monday’s RAW, it is worth noting, faced competition from a Monday Night Football doubleheader. Sunday’s SmackDown!, on the other hand, was a follow-up to Sunday’s Backlash event.
Still, it is certainly telling that the show long viewed as the “B” show is now delivering comparable numbers to the show that — even during football season — has consistently represented WWE’s flagship.
