In what will apparently be the first of two visits this month, Ariana Grande has an extensive role on Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Grande, who is far from a stranger to NBC’s flagship late night show, appears for an interview, a “Best Friend Challenge” game, and a performance.

Thursday’s appearance comes on the heels of NBC’s announcement that Grande will return as the musical guest on the September 19 season premiere edition of “The Tonight Show.”

Taped in advance, Thursday’s “Tonight Show” also features an appearance by Russell Westbrook. The NBA all-star joins Jimmy Fallon for an interview and a game of “Random Object Football Toss.”

The episode will air following NBC’s Thursday Night Football and late local news broadcasts (the subject-to-change start time is currently listed as 12:05AM ET).
