Drake’s “Controlla” Stays #1 At Urban Radio, Rihanna’s “Needed Me” Remains #2

Week-to-week airplay declines do not prevent Drake’s “Controlla” and Rihanna’s “Needed Me” from retaining the top two spots on Mediabase’s urban radio airplay chart.

Played ~4,660 times during the August 21-27 tracking week (-179), “Controlla” spends a third week as the format’s #1 song. Rihanna’s former “Needed Me” is stationary at #2 thanks to a weekly spin count of ~4,196 (-117).

Up one place, Usher’s “No Limit (featuring Young Thug)” takes #3. It received ~3,944 tracking period spins (+267).

DJ Khaled’s “For Free (featuring Drake)” meanwhile drops one place to #4. The former urban #1 and reigning rhythmic #1 received ~3,897 weekly spins (-267).

Dae Dae’s “Wat U Mean (Aye, Aye, Aye)” holds at #5 with ~3,730 weekly plays (+109).
