Zara Larsson Returning To NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (Updated)

Update: After originally advertising Zara Larsson for the August 31 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” NBC now says she will perform on the September 1 episode.

The September 1 episode will also feature interviews with Harry Connick, Jr. and Michael Phelps.

Zara Larsson made her first “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” appearance on April 12, 2016.

She will return to the show on August 31, 2016.

NBC confirms Larsson as the musical guest for that night’s “Tonight Show.” The episode will also feature an interview with Harry Connick, Jr. An additional interview guest will likely be announced in the coming days.

There have been reports that Larsson will imminently be releasing a new single, and the timing of her “Tonight Show” performance seems to support that notion. She already performed her US breakthrough “Never Forget You” on “Fallon,” and follow-up “Lush Life” is no longer active at radio — and thus not a likely candidate for high-profile promotion.
