Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” Remains #1 At Rhythmic Radio; Drake’s “Controlla” Enters Top 5

Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” again ranks as the most played song at rhythmic radio.

The song, which first reached #1 on last week’s listing, keeps the throne on this week’s edition of the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart. It garnered a format-leading ~6,630 plays during the July 3-9 tracking week.

While that count trails last week’s mark by 101, it keeps “Don’t Mind” ahead of the pack.

The closest competition comes from Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” which enjoys a one-place rise to #2. It received ~6,264 tracking period spins (+378).

Drake’s former #1 “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” slips to #3 with ~5,711 (-245), while The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” holds at #4 on the strength of ~5,485 weekly plays (-179).

Up four places, Drake’s “Controlla” grabs a new peak of #5. The “Views” single attained ~4,427 spins during the tracking week (+682).
