Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” Reaches #1 at Urban Radio; Rihanna’s “Needed Me” Hits #2

While Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” holds off “Don’t Mind” on this week’s rhythmic chart, it cedes the urban radio throne to Kent Jones’ breakthrough single.

Up one place, “Don’t Mind” takes #1 on this week’s Mediabase urban airplay chart. It received a format-leading ~4,754 spins during the June 19-25 tracking week (+285).

Spun ~4,345 times this week (-150), “One Dance” actually slips to #3 on the chart. Rihanna’s “Needed Me” also pulls ahead, rising one place to #2 on the strength of its ~4,391 tracking week spins (+180).

Beyonce’s “Sorry,” which received ~4,218 weekly spins (+170), enjoys a one-place lift to #4. It trades places with Desiigner’s “Panda,” which drops to #5 courtesy a weekly spin count of ~3,817 (-313).
