Drake’s “One Dance” Stays #1 At Rhythmic Radio; Rihanna’s “Needed Me” Enters Top 5

A week-to-week spin decrease does not prevent Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” from earning a seventh straight week atop the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

The smash received a format-leading ~6,486 spins during the June 19-25 tracking week. While that trails last week’s count by a non-trivial ~355 spins, it keeps “One Dance” ahead of the pack — most notably, Kent Jones’ soaring “Don’t Mind.”

“Don’t Mind,” which rises one place to #2, received ~6,293 spins during the official tracking period. This week’s count bests last week’s by a whopping 814.

Down one place, Desiigner’s “Panda” takes #3 with ~5,632 weekly spins (-547). The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” holds at #4 with ~5,627 plays (+295), while Rihanna’s “Needed Me” rises one place to #5 on the strength of its ~5,482 spins (+821).

The week-to-week spin gain of 821 is the rhythmic format’s second-greatest this week; only DJ Khaled’s #11 “For Free (featuring Drake)” (+992) posted a greater weekly gain.
