Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” Receiving Early Pop Airplay In San Francisco, Trenton

Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” does not officially go for US pop radio adds until next week, but two stations are already showing support.

San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 played the song a healthy 40 times over the past seven days. It only played the song five times during the previous seven-day period.

Trenton’s 94.5 PST, meanwhile, provided 9 spins during the June 8-14 window. The station, which also reaches the Philadelphia market, did not play the song at all between June 1-7.

Both stations formally “added” the song this week.

“Lush Life” represents the follow-up to Larsson’s MNEK collaboration “Never Forget You,” which reached the Top 5 at pop radio. Epic originally promoted the song prior to the US “Never Forget You” campaign, but it failed to gain meaningful traction during its initial radio campaign.
