Volbeat’s “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” Rules Active Rock Radio For Sixth Week

Volbeat’s “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” wears the active rock radio crown for a sixth consecutive week.

Spun ~2,242 times during the June 5-11 tracking week (+19), “Crown” again holds the top spot on Mediabase’s active rock airplay chart.

Volbeat’s single has only been on the chart for ten weeks, which means it has spent 60% of its tenure in the top spot.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dark Necessities” remains #2 with ~1,909 spins (+136), while Shinedown’s “Asking For It” moves into the #3 position. Up one place from last week’s position, it received ~1,621 tracking week plays (+150).

Sixx:AM’s “Rise” falls one spot to #4 courtesy a spin count of ~1,504 (-47), while Chevelle’s “Joyride” jumps one spot to #5 thanks to its ~1,404 weekly plays (+169).
