Volbeat’s “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” Earns 5th Week As Active Rock Radio’s #1 Song

Volbeat’s “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” has now spent more than half its active rock radio tenure at #1.

The song, which is in its ninth week on the Mediabase chart, enjoys a fifth consecutive frame at #1.

“The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” received a format-leading ~2,223 spins during the May 29-June 4 tracking week. Up 27 from last week’s count, the tally easily keeps “Crown” atop the active rock pack.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dark Necessities,” which holds at #2, received ~1,773 spins during the official tracking period (+118).

Sixx:AM’s “Rise” is steady at #3 with ~1,551 plays (-35), while Shinedown’s “Asking For It” enjoys a one-place lift to #4. It was played ~1,471 times during the official tracking week (+124).

Down one spot, Five Finger Death Punch’s “My Nemesis” takes #5 with ~1,466 weekly spins (-116).
