Dierks Bentley’s “Black” Claims #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; Beyonce, Kevin Gates, Fifth Harmony Follow

Update: Just under thirty six hours have passed since the week’s new releases arrived on the US iTunes store, and Dierks Bentley’s debuting “Black” still holds the #1 spot on the album sales chart.

Beyonce’s “Lemonade” is back up to #2 as of 11AM ET on Saturday, ahead of Kevin Gates’ new “Murder For Hire 2” (#3), Fifth Harmony’s new “7/27” (#4), and Blake Shelton’s “If I’m Honest” (#5).

The week’s new albums arrived on the US iTunes store just prior to midnight, and the two highest profile releases straight to the top of the sales chart.

As of 1:45AM ET, Dierks Bentley’s new “Black” holds #1 on the chart. Fifth Harmony’s new “7/27” is #2.

Specific sales projections were not available at press time, but “Black” and “7/27” are both expected to contend for top spots on the overall weekly album sales chart.

Beyonce’s “Lemonade” (#3) directly follows the new Dierks and 5H albums, while Flume’s new “Skin” is #4. Blake Shelton’s “If I’m Honest” is #5.

Other albums in the Top 10 include Catfish and The Bottlemen’s new “The Ride” (#6), Thrice’s new “To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere” (#7), Drake’s “Views” (#8), Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” (#9), and Ro James’ “ELDORADO” (#10).
