Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” Confirmed For iHeartRadio’s “On The Verge”

Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” has been named the latest beneficiary of the coveted iHeartRadio “On The Verge” program.

In addition to branding support for the artist, the “On The Verge” program provides selected songs with guaranteed airplay across the iHeartMedia stations within a designated format. Numerous previous OTV picks, including ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK,” Tove Lo’s “Habits,” Nick Jonas’ “Jealous,” Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody” and Post Malone’s “White Iverson,” ended up reaching #1 within their target formats.

It seems likely the “Don’t Mind” boost will apply/is applying at rhythmic radio, but iHeart’s announcement did not explicitly confirm the format.

In recent weeks, the song has been soaring at urban, rhythmic, and pop radio.

“Don’t Mind” should reach the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart and Top 30 on this week’s pop airplay chart. It may concurrently enter the Top 5 at urban, which is where it first took flight.

It is #31 on this week’s all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
