The Strumbellas’ “Spirits” Earns Third Week As Alternative Radio’s #1 Song; Kaleo Enters Top 10

The Top 5 on this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart mirrors that of last week’s chart.

That means The Strumbellas’ “Spirits” is again the #1 song.

Spun ~2,956 times during the official tracking period (-124), “Spirits” rules the listing for a third straight week.

twenty one pilots’ “Ride” holds at #2 with ~2,901 spins (-33), while The Lumineers’ “Ophelia” remains #3 on the strength of its ~2,759 weekly plays (+37).

Blink-182’s “Bored To Death,” which received ~2,442 tracking week spins (+336), follows at #4. A weekly spin count of ~2,397 (+353) keeps Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dark Necessities” stationary at #5.

While the Top 5 does not welcome any new additions this week, the Top 10 welcomes one in the form of Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go.”

Up two places, “Way Down We Go” earns #9 courtesy a weekly spin count of ~1,833 (+220).
