Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” Sales Forecast Adjusted To 150K

Earlier this month, Hits Daily Double noted that Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” was headed for an opening week sales figure in the 200,000 range.

Now that release day is almost here and more trending data is available, that forecast has been lowered.

Hits says “Dangerous Woman,” which is Grande’s third studio release, is now expected to sell 150,000 pure US albums in its first week.

While that would mark a decline from the 169,000 sold by previous album “My Everything,” it would still give Grande a strong shot at #1. Her main competition is “If I’m Honest” from Blake Shelton, whose last album sold 101,000 in its first week.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) added to the total, “Dangerous Woman” should emerge with 190,000 total consumption units. That should make the album contender for #1 on the Billboard 200.
