The May 11 edition of “Nashville” features the return of guest star Derek Hough, who reprises his role as Noah West.
It also features an appearance by Kesha.
Kesha, whose legal battle with Dr. Luke has commanded considerable media attention in recent months, guests as herself on the episode.
The singer-songwriter’s appearance comes in conjunction with a storyline involving the aforementioned Noah West and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere).
“Juliette reunites with her ‘Shenandoah Girl’ co-star Noah West (Derek Hough) on the Oscar campaign trail, where she meets Kesha, who guest stars as herself,” says ABC of the plotline.
Entitled “After You’ve Gone,” the May 11 “Nashville” also finds Rayna making a “last-ditch effort to protect her oldest daughter from the perils that befall young artists,” Scarlett growing “wary of Gunnar’s budding friendship with Autumn Chase (Alicia Witt),” Layla fearing “falling into obscurity before her career even takes off,” and Will suffering a “devastating loss.”
