At the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony, pop star Nick Jonas performed with country duo Dan + Shay.
At the 2016 ceremony, he’ll perform with Kelsea Ballerini.
In a conference call for the upcoming event, producers confirmed that the pair will unite for a “must-see performance” at Sunday’s ceremony.
They also revealed that “Trombone Shorty will duet with one of the show’s biggest acts.”
The news was not restricted to performer announcements. Tuesday’s conference call also provided confirmation that Tom Hiddleston and Maddie & Tae will be presenting at the ceremony.
Other, previously confirmed performers include Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Charles Kelley, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton with Katy Perry, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young with Cassadee Pope, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town and Old Dominion.
Other, previously confirmed presenters include Betty Cantrell, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, Nancy O’Dell, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Kiefer Sutherland and Cole Swindell.
Sunday’s 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards show airs at 8PM ET on CBS.
