The “Carpool Karaoke” segment of “The Late Late Show” is by far the most popular component of the CBS late night universe, and the network is hoping to capitalize — and grow — that popularity.
CBS will air a primetime “Carpool Karaoke” special at 10PM on Tuesday, March 29.
Entitled “The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special,” the hourlong broadcast will include highlights from the various “Carpool Karaoke” segments as well as James Corden’s favorite moments from his first year hosting “Late Late.”
It will also include a new “Carpool Karaoke” piece with Jennifer Lopez.
“I have loved every minute of hosting THE LATE LATE SHOW. It’s been an incredible year,” said James Corden. “I look forward to this hour on primetime to look at some of my favorite moments and share a couple of great new ones. I can’t wait!”
