Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence” Reaches #1 at Active Rock Radio

Disturbed’s cover of “The Sound Of Silence” rockets to #1 on this week’s Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

The song, which was #4 on last week’s chart, received a format-leading ~1,889 spins during the February 28-March 5 tracking week (+232).

It seizes the throne from Shinedown’s “State Of My Head,” which slips to #3 after five weeks at #1. It received ~1,690 tracking week spins (-173).

Pop Evil’s “Ways To Get High,” which received ~1,698 plays during the official tracking week, holds at #2.

Foo Fighters’ “Saint Cecilia” (#4, -1 | ~1,658, -41) and Nothing More’s “Here’s To The Heartache” (#5, = | ~1,485, -41) complete the Top 5.
