Def Jam Planning Pop Radio Push For Jeremih’s “oui”

Jeremih’s “oui,” which is currently in the Top 5 at urban radio and Top 10 at rhythmic radio, could soon be headed to the pop format.

Def Jam confirms that it is planning a pop radio push for the song, which appears on the artist’s “Late Nights.” No adds date has yet been provided; the label’s promotions team only confirms that it is “coming soon.”

While it has not yet generated meaningful pop airplay, it has picked up some early support — albeit from rhythmic-leaning pop stations — in Raleigh, San Antonio, and Tulsa.

Through February 25, “oui” had sold what Nielsen Music reports as 138,126 paid US downloads.
