Ratings Update: “iZombie” Flat in Demo, Up In Viewers Following “The Flash”

Final Ratings Update: A downward adjustment in the final ratings report means The CW’s “iZombie” did not, in fact, enjoy an episode to episode gain in adults 18-49.

It did, however, post improvement in total viewership.

Per the Nielsen data, Tuesday’s “iZombie” drew a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.428 million total viewers.

Airing on January 12, the previous episode posted the same 0.5 demo rating but reached a series low audience of 1.170 million viewers.

That episode aired out of a “MADtv” reunion. This week’s aired out of a much higher-rated “The Flash.”

Tuesday’s “The Flash” drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating and 3.655 million total viewers. Last week’s installment of The CW’s flagship series posted a 1.4 with 3.712 million.
===================

Airing for the first time since January 12, The CW’s “iZombie” posted week-to-week gains in adults 18-49.

Per Nielsen fast national data, Tuesday’s episode drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and 1.459 million total viewers.

The aforementioned January 12 broadcast posted a series low-tying 0.5 in the demo. It set a new series low of 1.170 million in total viewership.

That episode, however, aired out of a “MADtv” reunion rather than typical lead-in “The Flash.” This week’s episode was paired with the flagship comic series.

Airing at 8PM, “The Flash” drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating and 3.668 million total viewers. Last week’s broadcast drew the same 1.4 in the demo but a slightly stronger 3.712 million viewership mark (Since “The Flash” often receives an upward adjustment in the finals, the viewership disparity may be lessened – if not eliminated).
