Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” Headed For Top 10 at Pop Radio

Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” may top Mediabase’s pop airplay chart for a fourth straight week. At worst, it will be #2 on this coming week’s listing.

It will not be the artist’s only Top 10 representative; follow-up “Love Yourself” is also on track to reach that portion of the chart.

The third “Purpose” single received 3,912 spins during the first three days of the January 3-9 tracking week. Up 15.8% from last week’s count, the tally positions “Love Yourself” at #9 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Absent an imminent threat from below, “Love Yourself” is in no danger of losing its Top 10 slot as the week progresses. It, in fact, appears poised to improve its position by leapfrogging Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches,” which is currently #8 on the building chart.

Already a Top 3 hit on the all-encompassing Hot 100, “Love Yourself” is showing smash potential. As its radio airplay grows, so too does its sales presence — it recently overtook Adele’s “Hello” for #1 on iTunes.
