Hot 100: Shawn & Camila’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” Reaches Top 30

When Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello take the stage on Monday’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” they will perform with knowledge that their collaboration “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is a Top 30 hit.

Up five places, the single takes #28 on this week’s edition of the Billboard Hot 100.

The upward move comes in conjunction with a strong sales performance during the December 25-31 tracking week. “IKWYDLS” has also been gaining traction on the radio and streaming fronts.

Cut from the “Handwritten Revisited” re-issue, the tune is Mendes’ third career Top 30 hit. He previously went as high as #4 with “Stitches” and #24 with “Life of the Party.”

It, meanwhile, represents Cabello’s first Hot 100 hit entry outside of Fifth Harmony.

With the group, her previous Top 30 hit came in the form of “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink),” which peaked at #12.
