Nielsen live+7 data for the December 7-13 broadcast week reveals ABC’s “Nashville” as the top percentage gainer in adults 18-49. Extending its streak, fellow ABC series “Quantico” posted the biggest weekly percentage rise in total viewership.
On a live+7 basis, the “Nashville” fall finale drew a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating and 6.591 million total viewers. The numbers, which account for the initial broadcast and time-shifted viewership over the subsequent seven days, best the live+same-day data (0.8, 4.137 million) by 125% and 59%, respectively.
The adults 18-49 gain was network television’s greatest during the 12/7-13 broadcast week. The viewership lift was the #6 percentage gain.
“Quantico” has routinely been one of network television’s biggest percentage gainers this year, and its fall finale did not break from that pattern. On a live+7 basis, it drew a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating and 8.236 million total viewers. The numbers top those of the L+SD report (1.3, 4.557 million) by 100% and 81%, respectively.
The adults 18-49 gain ties for #2 among broadcast network programs. The viewership gain was the week’s greatest.
