Ariana Grande, The Band Perry, Cold War Kids, Haley Reinhart Enter Top 50 at Hot AC Radio

Ariana Grande’s latest single “Focus” earns a Top 50 ranking at hot adult contemporary radio this week.

Songs by The Band Perry, Cold War Kids, and Haley Reinhart achieve the same feat.

Spun 210 times during the November 22-28 tracking week (+40), “Focus” ranks as the Mediabase Hot AC panel’s #44 song. It held the #54 position last week.

The Band Perry’s country crossover “Live Forever” takes #46 this week. The song, which rises twenty two places from last week’s position, received 203 weekly spins (+112).

Cold War Kids’ former alternative #1 “First” follows with a #47 ranking at Hot AC. Up five places from last week’s position, the song received 186 tracking week spins (+4).

Up eighteen places, Reinhart’s take on “Can’t Help Falling In Love” takes #48 this week. It received 177 weekly plays (+83).

— In addition to the new arrivals, the Top 50 also welcomes two re-entries. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Growing Up (featuring Ed Sheeran)” returns to the Top 50 at #45. Up six places, it received 210 weekly spins (+19).

In conjunction with its success at pop radio, Daya’s “Hide Away” is regaining attention at Hot AC. It rises eight places to #49 on the strength of its 177 weekly spins (+23).
