Coldplay’s “Adventure” Again Ranks as Hot AC’s Most-Added Song; Adam Lambert, Selena Gomez Follow

It was hot adult contemporary radio’s most-added song two weeks ago. It was the most-added song last week. It is the most-added song this week.

For the third straight week, Coldplay’s “Adventure Of A Lifetime” lands atop the Hot AC radio add board.

This week’s most-added honor comes thanks to pickups from 13 Mediabase-monitored stations.

The lead “Head Full Of Dreams” single is already inside the Top 15 on the official Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. With station support continuing to grow, “Adventure” should have no trouble continuing to rise.

Like it did last week, Adam Lambert’s “Another Lonely Night” takes Hot AC’s second-most-added honor. This week, however, it splits the distinction with Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love.” Both songs received adds from 10 monitored stations.

Each added by 9 stations, Gwen Stefani’s “Used To Love You,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” and The Band Perry’s “Live Forever” follow in a three-way tie for fourth-most-added.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Demi Lovato’s “Confident” (7 adds, 7th-most-added, tie), Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand” (7 adds, 7th, tie), Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece By Piece” (5 adds, 9th, tie), Marianas Trench’s “One Love” (5 adds, 9th, tie).
