Ratings: Disney’s “Girl Meets World” Stays Strong, “Bunk’d” Returns

Airing for the first time since the October 16-18 “Girl Meets Texas” series, “Girl Meets World” drew strong marks Friday.

No, it was not as hot as “Girl Meets Texas, Part 3,” which aired on Sunday, October 18. The episode did, however, outdraw the first two parts in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

Entitled “Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project,” the episode garnered a 0.67 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.70 adults 18-34 rating, and a total viewership average of 2.508 million viewers.

All three “Girl Meets Texas” episodes reached larger total audiences, but only part three posted better marks in the aforementioned demographics.

Part three drew a 0.69 in A18-49, a 0.75 in A18-34, and 3.124 million viewers. Part two (10/17) posted a 0.61 in A18-49, a 0.65 in A18-34, and a 2.876 million viewership average, while the first part (10/16) managed a 0.57 in A18-49, a 0.55 in A18-34, and an audience total of 2.939 million.

Part one was the most recent “Girl Meets World” to air on a Friday.

Since the “Texas” episodes benefited from being part of a series, this Friday’s “Girl Meets World” was not expected to match their numbers. The fact that it actually fared better than two of the three parts in key young adult demographics is a clear victory for this week’s episode.

— Disney Channel led into “GMW” with “Bunk’d.” Airing for the first time since August 21, the “Jessie” spin-off drew a 0.37 in adults 18-49, a 0.42 in adults 18-34, and a total audience of 1.819 million.

The previous episode garnered a 0.40 in adults 18-49, a 0.34 in adults 18-34, and an audience total of 2.183 million.
