Chris Janson’s year has included the inking of a major label record deal, a trip to the top of the country radio airplay chart, and the release of a studio album.
As of Monday, it also includes the musician’s first performance on NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Taped in the afternoon and set to air during the 11:35PM-12:35AM ET broadcast, Janson’s performance comes amid news that “Buy Me A Boat,” the aforementioned album, debuted at #4 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
Earlier this year, the title track reached #1 on the Mediabase country radio chart. New single “Power of Positive Drinkin'” is beginning to take flight at the format.
