Its airplay may have decline this week, but The Weeknd’s “The Hills” is still the #1 song at rhythmic radio.
Spun ~7,098 times during the October 4-10 tracking week (-248), “The Hills” earns its sixth week atop Mediabase’s airplay chart. It narrowly holds off Drake’s charging “Hotline Bling,” which rises to #2 on the strength of its ~6,923 weekly spins (+1,235).
Fetty Wap’s “My Way (featuring Monty)” slips one place to #3 courtesy its ~6,083 weekly spins (+214), while Selena Gomez’ “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” (#4, = | ~4,311, -142) and Trey Songz’ “About You” (#5, +1 | ~3,824, -374) complete the Top 5.
Despite the week-to-week airplay loss, “About You” is up on the chart this week — and making its inaugural appearance in the Top 5.
